ECE-Students at DAAD Scholarship Holders’ Meeting June 15-17, 2007 in Gießen
Rana Mahdy (study model Optoelectronics and Optical Communication) and Raed Hadi (study model Microwave Technology) had the opportunity to exchange their experience with hundreds of other scholars from all over the world. DAAD scholarship holders in different fields of study and from different countries like Bolivia, Brasilia, Bulgaria, Iraq, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Mexico, Pakistan, Ukraine, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam were invited to obtain more information about the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as an institution, learn more about the various activities and programmes and meet with DAAD-representatives:
- Dr. Bode, DAAD Secretary General, and the President to come, Prof. Hormuth – Uni Gießen, meet Rana and Raed.
The acting President of DAAD, Professor Dr. Theodor Berchem, attended the meeting too and more details will be available soon under www.daad.de/stipendiatentreffen.
