Prices for books and other products by German publishing houses are fixed by the publishing houses and covered by retail price maintenance. Hence cash discounts and allowances that are not listed on the invoice cannot be granted.
All products are posted by mail. Postage costs will be the current charges that are valid on the date of delivery.
Payment is made on invoice within 4 weeks from date of invoice.
Only those publications which cannot be viewed on the Internet for free are delivered for approval.
You are entitled to cancel the contract within two weeks. The cancellation has to be made in writing (e.g. letter, fax, email) or by returning the goods. It is to be addressed to:

The cancellation period starts on the date of delivery. If the value of the returned goods exceeds 40,- €, it is the publishing house to pay the costs, otherwise it is at the customer’s expenses. In case that the returned goods are damaged, we have the right to assert a claim of depreciation. No cancellation can be made for files that are downloaded.
Claims are to be made immediately and within one week at the latest in written form.
If the purchased goods are faulty, you have the right to demand replacement. If there is more than a slight fault and no replacement can be made, you may withdraw from the contract, reduce the price or claim damages.
We will use your data only within the business process and will never provide any information about you to third parties.
All goods remain the property of the publishing house until payment is received in full.
For both parties the place of performance and jurisdiction is Kassel.
If one or more of the above agreements prove to be invalid, the validity of the other agreements is not affected. Differing terms have to be fixed and agreed on in writing.
