Institutional Development Service for Teaching and Research

The Institutional Development Service for Teaching and Research is an administrative unit of Kassel University. It strategically supports the development of teaching and research structures and advises faculty members of Kassel university in setting up more structured forms of post-graduate and doctoral programs.

It also coordinates the program and seminars of the university-wide supporting services, workshops and seminars. Part of this coordinating task is the Online website: PhD Research Information Online (PRIO).

Another important task is gathering and researching information on doctoral students, their needs and wishes at Kassel University in order to create a professional, supportive environment.

To do so, we undertook two evaluations of our doctoral students that were organises by the PhD Office of Kassel University, by HIS GmbH and the Pilotzentrum Internationales Doktorandenforum at Technical University Kaiserslautern.
