The Info System Planning collects and publishes literature, which is not published by commercial publishers. We are open to students and university lectures as well as to all enthusiasts. With the information stored in the grey room, a wide research is made possible. These records allow each user to be inspired by and also to profit from the knowledge of all fellow students.
- Diploma thesis, final thesis, student research papers, project thesis and practical study works.
- Our documentation collects grey literature, which are not published by commercial publishers. These informal sources are, for example brochures, conference papers or working papers; it often contains a lot of interesting and valuable information, which are not published elsewhere.
- We indexed maps with priority to Kassel and the region.
- We also offer Kassel city-maps on a digital basis (.tiff – format).
- Videos from TV-transmissions on DVD about architecture, urban planning and landscape planning.
- Magazines relevant for architecture and urban planning as well as the daily press.
- Publications from Lucius Burckhardt at the “Lucius-Burckhardt-Archive”.
Lucius Burckhardt decisively stamped the department of architecture, urban planning and landscape planning of the university of Kassel and is the creator of the "Strollology ".
- Publications, released by the department such as the writings of university lectures or students, which enrich the professional world of architecture, urban planning and landscape planning and are also promoting the professional debates.
- A photocopy apparatus gives you the possibility to make b/w-copies for 5 Cent per page.
